In what is believed to be the third largest offering of ranching properties in California, nearly 25,000 acres in the southern Sierra foothills hit the market at $ 21 million.
Elliott Land and Cattle Ranch borders Sequoia National Park and stretches west from the Kaweah River to Highway 245 in Tulare County, offering stunning scenery, rolling countryside and mountain pastures.

The property includes the headquarters of the ranch with employee residences, horse and hay barns, stores, pastures, paddocks and corrals.
The ranch has historically carried 1,000 mother cows year round.
“From a breeding point of view, it’s about variety and forage,” he said. “The difference in elevation allows for a different timing of forage growth. “

The ranch is owned by Elliott Land and Cattle Company, he said. The primary owners “have had fun on site over the years, but are ready to move on,” Drew said.
“Managers are at an age where they would prefer to spend time elsewhere,” he added.
